Largest Plaintiff’s Verdict in Snohomish County Courtroom

Lara Dethlefs and Jody Reich recently obtained a favorable verdict for an injured client in Snohomish County, with Judge Ellen Fair presiding. Our client was a business owner who fell on compact snow and ice as she entered the building, severely fracturing her ankle. Snow had been falling for several days, and even though the landlord provided snow removal services under the lease, it failed to remove the accumulated snow. The jury returned a verdict of $270,000, the largest verdict in that courtroom to date.
